Locally Made: Live Artfully Magazine

December 11, 2008 I wanted to let everyone know about a really beautiful, locally produced magazine:  Live Artfully Magazine.  Creative Director and Publisher Jenny Malott uses the magazine's pages to show off the Central Coast's amazing artists and creative community.  You'll discover local businesses, fascinating people and fun projects, as well.  Live Artfully has its first Cookbook issue out, comprised of recipe submissions from, you guessed it, LOCALS!

Ok, ok...I'm thrilled to include that there's also a recipe and photo from yours truly! (Maybe you'll recognize the Lemon Pepper Chicken Burgers?? Well, I haven't published the recipe...you'll have to get the cookbook to find it!)

Visit Live Artfully's site (also listed in blog roll on the right), even check out the first issue for free, and support local ingenuity by getting a subscription!

PS:  Don't forget the Vine Street Victorian Showcase, this Saturday 6-9 p.m., in Paso Robles. "The beautiful Victorian homes on Vine Street are the lighted backdrop for an evening of old fashioned fun. Carolers, dancers, storytellers, musicians and more come out to celebrate the holidays."  It's the ultimate holiday activity...especially for those of us (ahem) that don't get around to putting up those Christmas lights on our own homes.
