My family and I have discovered a nearby Pick Your Own blackberry farm, and at $1.50/lb I've had a lot of berries to experiment with in the kitchen! Enter in Blackberry Pizza, with Fennel, Goat Cheese, & Honey. A fun way to celebrate the summer season.

Keep on reading to see my recipe for Blackberry Pizza Blackberry Pizza with Fennel, Goat Cheese, & Honey
1 carton of fresh blackberries
1 fennel bulb, thinly sliced (reserve frawns for garnish)
4-5 oz fresh goat cheese
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons honey (plus extra for drizzling on top)
Pizza dough, enough for 1 medium pizza (store bought or home made)
Prepare pizza dough for baking, sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper on surface.
Mix goat cheese with honey and lemon zest, add lemon juice if your taste desires; gently spread on to pizza dough. Scatter the sliced fennel and blackberries.
Bake pizza at 475 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Drizzle a bit of honey on top and enjoy!
